Cogent Bank, DeepWork Capital, and Nelson Mullins have joined forces to provide invaluable expertise and resources to founders in Miami, fostering growth and innovation in the region's entrepreneurial landscape.

The partnership between Shrimp Society and these industry-leading organizations marks a significant milestone in Miami's startup community, as it brings together the collective strengths and networks of these influential entities. By combining their respective expertise, Cogent Bank, DeepWork Capital, and Nelson Mullins aim to accelerate the success of early-stage startups, fueling their growth, and empower entrepreneurs to succeed in Miami. 

The Built in Miami Startup Program is collaboration between Venture Miami, an innovation Office of the City of Miami, the Shrimp Society, and educational provider Argent Strategies. This is a three-part program designed to serve local entrepreneurs at each stage of their entrepreneurial journey. 

Cogent Bank, a trusted financial institution deeply committed to supporting local businesses, will leverage its extensive banking experience to provide tailored financial solutions to startups participating in the Built in Miami program. As a partner, Cogent Bank will offer guidance and mentorship, helping founders navigate the complexities of raising capital and managing their finances effectively.

DeepWork Capital, a prominent venture capital firm with a strong track record of supporting startups, will bring its deep industry knowledge and network to the program. DeepWork Capital is also the investment manager for the Florida Opportunity Fund, a venture fund created by the State of Florida to drive innovation across the state. To date, the Florida Opportunity Fund has invested in 80 companies that have generated $1 billion in revenue.
